So Many Plants

Updated: Feb 17, 2019

- So little time! Plants are amazing. They come in various shapes, colors, textures, and sizes. Plant appreciation is the foundation of great garden design. Of course a garden needs style, direction, scale, focus and composition and plants play a major role in all of these . Plants are used as garden walls, ground covers, accents and composed into borders; plants make the garden. Succulents are becoming more popular and available for our gardens. A few select succulents include Aloe, Agave, and Aeonium. These all have multiple varieties and thrive in a warm Mediterranean climate. Here are a few great succulents to remember, along with an image of a succulent garden we recently completed.

ALOE 'ERIK THE RED' - A LARGE ALOE WITH RED ORANGE FLOWER

AEONIUM UNDULATUM - A TALL GREEN AEONIUM WITH LARGE ROSETTES
